is there a way to tell lightroom to skip jpegs on import? I'm just about to build a catlogue out of my timelapse and video files, and I dont want to bother with the thousands of jpegs. (yes I know I can sort by media type, thats a faff AND it appears not to work when you're trying to import 160,000+ images!).
hi mohit, unfortunately the jpegs are not with the raws (and don't have same file names) so that's not going to work
If you just want to be selective about what is and is not imported, you may need to do a more manual import by choosing the folders and what is in the folders as you go.
Alternatively, if you want to play with fire, you could use the OS tools to mark the JPG files as "hidden", do the import, then unmark the JPG files.
