I've used Photoshop CC 2015 to create the necessary files for Character Animator. If I go to 'import' from within 'Ch' then my puppet opens and is there to edit. However, I cannot get it to link with Photoshop CC to edit the layers, etc., live and have them automatically sync/update in 'Ch'. There doesn't seem to be an obvious answer.
Initially GIMP would open with the puppet to be edited, but I have since deleted the program to see if this changed anything...and nothing, literally; now nothing happens at all. It is as though Photoshop and Ch aren't recognising each other?
This seems to be working now...?
Unsure of what the initial problem was, however if I select 'New Puppet in Photoshop' from the welcome menu in 'Ch', the puppet opens fine in 'Ch', but not in Photoshop to be edited.
Any help, please?
New Puppet in PS and Edit Original should do the same thing as clicking on a PSD from the Finder/Explorer. Try that and see what happens (with any PSD). If it doesn't launch PS, fixing it depending on which operating system are you using.
On mac, you control-click on any PSD from the Finder and choose Open With and pick Photoshop. I don't have my windows box right here, but it's something similar.
