Would you please provide more detailed description of the problem with Adobe Reader for iOS using Apple Pencil?
(a) The drawing does not appear right where you started (i.e. missing some initial drawing).
(b) It takes a while for drawing to catch up with Apple Pencil.
(c) something else (If so, please provide a specific example.)
We are actively working on fixing (a).
Your feedback would be valuable for further improving the Apple Pencil experience in Acrobat Reader for iOS.
Yes, the drawing appears with great time lag.... Please take a look on how well for example the Notability app supports the apple pencil

Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate it.
We just released the new update (16.02.23) to the App Store on February 17, 2016.
The update includes the fix for the "big lag" problem with Apple Pencil.
Please give it a try and let us know what you think.
Thank you for the feedback!
Regarding palm rejection, would it be possible for you to submit a feature enhancement request using the following online form?
Our Product Management team will take your request into consideration for a future release of Acrobat Reader for iOS.
You can change the thickness, color, and opacity of Freehand Drawing (a.k.a. Pencil) after you add it to a page.
- Tap the existing Freehand Drawing to display the context menu.
- Tap Thickness.../Color.../Opacity...
- Change the selected property. Here's the screenshot of thickness options.
Once you change the property (e.g. Thickness, Color, Opacity) for a given comment type (e.g. Freehand Drawing, Highlight, Text), Acrobat Reader will remember the last value for the next time.
Please let us know if it works for you.
