In PE11, how do I change wall color around my grey backdrop to match my backdrop?
Obviously, the backdrop I used was not big enough but if possible, I'd like to use this footage rather than reshoot. When I moved toward the camera in the video I recorded, some parts of my body ended up outside the grey backdrop I was using.
I can't key the backdrop because too many of the colors in the scene are similar to the backdrop. I tried cropping the wall right at the backdrop but then I cut myself out in those segments where I walk into the cropped area.
I asked Google and searched the forum before posting so I'd appreciate any advice.
Reshoot or use something like After Effects (rotoscoping) to fix this.
You will never be able to fix this with PE11.
I'm trying to fix the problem in Premiere Elements 11, which is the program I have. I'm sure there's a way to fix it in PE11; I've seen and gotten great advice in this forum on how to do almost anything in PE 11.
The trouble with reshooting is that I borrowed some of the merchandise and have since returned it so I'm trying hard to fix rather than reshoot.
