When using Creative Cloud Acrobat DC fail after 42%, IdDesign Faild with error message: "Installation succeeded but a patch failed"
I have reinstalled Creative Cloud and repeated this process numerous times.
empty your tmp (win) or temp (mac) folders and reinstall.
if you see hanging at about 42% again check your task manager(win) or activity monitor (mac) for an adobe hanging help process that you can terminate.
