I have the well documented issue with newer NVIDIA drivers impacting the preview of videos in Premier Elements 10. Downloading the driver from 5/2013 solves the problem, however, it has quirks... of which I do not think I should have to pay for an Elements upgrade to get rid of the issue with my video card. What can be done about this ? $89 to fix your issue is not something I like.....
This is a user to user forum, so I'm not sure how to respond to your question.
Issues with version 10 and nVidia drivers started about a year or so ago -- when version 10 was already over two years and two generations old. So I'm not sure Adobe is going to offer a fix for an older version of the program. Particularly when nVidia's drivers seem to be at the root cause.
You can certainly contact Adobe Customer Service and see if they'll over you some kind of deal on another version of the program. Or you can pick up an old or used copy of version 11, 12 or 13 from Amazon or eBay for pretty cheap.
I've heard of people working around this issue by loading a previous version of an nVidia driver. But those seem to be the options. The least likely scenario is that Adobe will issue a fix for a four year old program.
