Captivate 8 - can't advance from one quiz question to the next. After the answer, it stays on the same slide.

After the quiz question is answered, it stays on that slide rather than move to the next question.

Did you by any chance delete embedded quiz objects: Question, Answer, buttons? Or did you increase the duration of the question slide without moving its pausing point?

The normal work flow is a two-step Submit process:

1. User clicks on Submit, Feedback caption shows up and either invites to try again (for Failure and before exhaustion of attempts), or invites to press Y or click on the slide. In that first step, playhead will not move
2. User presses Y or clicks on the slide: playhead is released and the actions specified for Success or Last attempt are executed; default actions are 'Continue', you could change them to Go to Next slide or move the pausing point on the quiz slide (only way is by dragging it in the timeline) closer to the end of the quiz slide to speed up that second step
