I am working on a large legal document with many footnotes that contain supra notes.
For example a footnote could look like this - "See CRA technical interpretation ###, supra note 11.
A supra note refers to an earlier footnote number "supra note 11" - referring to footnote 11.
Is there a way to automatically format these notes so they will renumber if a footnote is deleted or added? In my earlier example, if I would delete footnote 9, then the supra note should change from 11 to 10. Any suggestions on how to format these notes within footnotes?
or perhaps this is not possible?
Yes -- that looks right. You did it with cross-referencing?
Do you have some good instructions you could send me?
