Why are always these important informations missing? Please understand, without these information any help is based on guessing:
- OS version?
- InDesign Version?
Screen related questions should also inform us, if the screen is High Resolution (like Retina) or normal.
Delete all preferences from InDesign.
Apologies. Here is the info:
OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.2
Adobe InDesign CC 2015.2 Release (220.127.116.11 Build)
Working on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), hooked up to a 24" Thunderbolt display.
Macbook is arranged to the left side of the Thunderbolt.
No problems with almost the same configuration as you: InDesign CC 2015.2 and Mac OS X 10.11.3.
You might try the Apple update to 10.11.3
You also might try restoring your InDesign preferences:
Thanks, but no luck. I tried both and i still can't see the dialog box.
Can you try to change the monitor resolution from the System Preferences, maybe backward and forward to several states, maybe that there is hanging something?
I tried everything in that preference and still no luck. This thing is lost in space!
Could it be that you OS „sees“ a second screen. What does happen if you in System Preferences collect all screen to one?
Or delete all com.apple preferences.
Do you mean "Gather windows?" If so, i tried that and deleting com.apple preferences and still no luck.
Did anyone find a solution here. I have tried all of this and still cant see the box.
Please try uninstalling InDesign with remove app preferences and installing it again.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! It worked!!!
