my video file is A.mp4 and Video codec is H.264 (1280X720, 24fps) and audio codec is AAC(44.1KHz, 96kbps). When I import in my composition in Window 7 machine, Audio waveform is started earlier than original start time when I check it in timeline. But, When I do the same thing with same contents in other window 7 machine, it's OK.
my composition setting is 1920X1080, 24fps. I am using AE CC 2014 latest version.
What are your system specifications?
Don't use compressed audio in After Effects. Use Audition or Adobe Media Encoder to convert the AAC audio to a wav or aiff file.
Do you mean that I should seperate my mp4 video clip into video part and audio part and I have to change audio part to wav or aiff file ?
Is there other method except them ? I'd like to use one container file instead of separating them.
For your information, please refer attached PNG file. Even I loaded the same video file, audio starting time is different. Upper side is correct (03:02) and audio start time of bottom picture is at 01:14 and it cause audio mismatch with video part.
I just imported this video clip and then add it to compositioin. But result is different.
I am using AE CC 2014 (22.214.171.124)
Machine A is i5-6600 with Win 7 and Machine B is i7-5820 with Win7.
Have you ever installed any third-party codec packs or media players on either of those machines?
I am not sure nothing special codec is installed in this machine. When I check the same contents in the same machine B I found that AE CC 2014 and 2015 have the same waveform start time which is earlier than original, But AE CC(126.96.36.199) is similar with original.
