Thanks Pattie - i have still the problem.
You need to be clearer about what kind of "shared library" project you're talking about. Are you sharing InDesign object libraries (created by choosing File > New > Library)? Are you talking about CC Libraries?
The way they handle graphic assets is very different.
Or are you packaging a file with its graphics assets? (File > Package)
I have created and shared a CC Library called “Mirta” with another freelance (yes, a collaborator).
The collaborator have uploaded in the CC Library “Mirta” a photo and i see it.
The problem is that if i try to drag it on my INDD document i see the “missing image link”.
I do not understand why!
If your collaborator dragged the image from InDesign into CC Libraries it's necessary to embed the image using the Links panel. Choose Embed Link from the Links panel menu.
The way CC libraries work, it's assuming that the artwork was created in the program you're dragging from. But your collaborator has linked to that graphic, and CC libraries can't read that link.
If they had used Photoshop and dragged from the Layers panel in Photoshop to the Libraries panel, that wouldn't have been necessary.
Really thanks Steve, i solved and i understand.
I had not thought to use "Embed Link" because in my CC the Sync file is "on".
My idea was that Sync file work with CC Libraries
Really thanks for now!
