    Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 failing to authorize computer.

      I have installed ADE on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.11.2.  Next I created an Adobe login successfully.

      When I try to authorize the computer with an Adobe ID it get the error message saying that the login and/or password are incorrect. 

      Have de-authorized, uninstalled, rebooted, and always get the same error message.

       

      I contacted Adobe Help via a Chat but they could not resolve the problem.

       

      I have also seen a couple of similar posts on the forum.

      Pretty clear to me that this is a bug that Adobe has failed to address.  But I am willing to hear any recommendations.
