Install Problems

I am trying to download PhotoShop CS6 and when i open the installer it says "We've encountered the following issues, Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."

Help Please.

Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems

Are you using a computer Administrator account with full read/write permission?

I have a MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Same issue, downloaded PS and end up with the same message. Win10 Pro

I had originally installed it from the dvd media and then took a registry hit. System Restore obviously era

sed the fact that it was already installed.

Downloaded the Creative Cloud Cleaner cleaned successfully and then used CCleaner to verify the registry was good. Attempting to reinstall and the installer is failing magnificently. Moved on to the support site and downloaded just PS to  test and the download version fails the same way.

Would really like to get to a clean install of the complete package.

Problem resolved, (oobe)

Found a post that suggested to rename an adobe directory (oobe).
