Could you please explain what exactly are you looking for ?
Also to view the previous edits , you may switch to the Develop Module and check the History Panel, as it lists all the edits made on the image in Lightroom.
I have installed LR5 onto a new Mac computer. Previously, I used another Mac. I would like to see all of my old imports and edits on the new computer. How can I see the old edits?I use an external hard drive. Cheryl Ogden

Your edits are in the catalog. Lightroom never changes the originals.
So you have to copy the catalog file (with the extension .lrcat) over from the old computer.
You can copy the whole folder, which also includes previews to the new computer, it's probably named Lightroom or Lightroom catalog, and usually located in the Pictures folder.
I'm guessing that you have re-imported all the images into a new catalog (for which there was no need), so double-click the catalog file you copied over to launch Lightroom with the old catalog. You probably now have the new catalog in that location, so copy the old catalog to the desktop - you can move it later, to anywhere you like.
