    Sizing Handles Disappeared?

I found that constantly while I am working on projects, my sizing handles will disappear. Help!

Do the following if you're using your customized build of modernizr (http://www.modernizr.com/):
      * insert the link to your js here
      * remove the link below to the html5shiv
      * add the "no-js" class to the html tags at the top
      * you can also remove the link to respond.min.js if you included the MQ Polyfill in your modernizr build

The sizing handles disappeared specifically for my nav list

That's one of the many pitfalls you'll encounter with (Legacy) Fluid Grid Layouts.   They are labeled Legacy for a reason .  IMO, Bootstrap is much better for building responsive layouts, menus and other components.  However some folks around here think hand coding is your only best option.    The best option is whatever works best for you & your workflow.   If FGLayouts aren't cutting it, find something else.

In my very humble, but often astute opinion, it is just a matter of time until Bootstrap becomes legacy. It has always been best to avoid Dreamweaver's page-building features.

I use Bootstrap as a code framework and was using it long before DW integrated it.

FGLayouts  were notoriously prickly.  I didn't use the feature much and when I did, I ended up re-writing all the source code.  So it was never more than a project jump starter.

For me, Bootstrap was an epiphany.  You can do so much with it.  And if you leverage Bootstrap with  LESS/SASS you can have a beautiful, custom web site or app running in no time.  That's why millions of developers choose Bootstrap and not Fluid Grid Layouts.

Legacy or not, Bootstrap as a framework isn't going away.  Version 4 is due to be released soon.

I'll bet you lunch that Bootstrap is obsolete within two years. And I haven't missed yet.

PageMill, Golive, Fusion, Netscape, Flash, Netscape, Opera (not dead yet but may as well be), Spry (Adobe booted me from their prerelease program for being so bold as to criticize Spry), Boilerplate.

In any event, I don't get it. Give me a drawing of a page, say go, and you use Bootstrap, and I'll code it by hand and I guarantee I'll beat you to the finish line... by a lot. Plus, I'll have at least 6000 fewer lines of CSS

                  I just don't get it, Nancy. I really don't.

                    And don't I know it.

There has to be a first time thus I am hedging my bets on Nancy.

I'd love to live in a world where everyone gets what they want and all dreams come, but what makes it really bad for Bootstrap is that Adobe chose them.
