          Hi toma31819982,

You need Acrobat to secure PDF. Once the PDF is secure you can send it or open it on iPad, It will open in secure form.

To secure PDF in Acrobat, refer this KB doc: Securing PDFS with passwords, Adobe Acrobat

          Regards,

          Meenakshi

Thanks.  We already can secure a PDF in Adobe on the desktop.  What we are looking to do is secure a document while it is on an iPad.

What we do is fill out a form on the iPad and sign it. The signed form is then emailed.  The person who receives the emailed form is still able to edit the form.  So we are looking for a way to secure a pdf on the iPad before emailing it.  We have not been able to figure out how to do this using the Adobe reader app for the iPad.

If you know of another app or a way to accomplish this on the iPad, it would be greatly appreciated.

            Thanks.
