Is that row set as a header row?
I am not sure but I guess so. It is not me who has built the document unfortunately. And as I can not select it I can´t say.
Now I have found a way to color it. If I select the first and second row and color it than select the second row again and color it back the way it was. But it bothers me I can not do it the right way.
Actually, this solved my problem!!!
Embarrassing I have been working with indesign many years and I have never noticed the short command for select cell. Thank you very much!
- To select a single cell, click inside a cell, or select text, and then choose Table > Select > Cell.
