    Invert a Grep Find

    cathykka Level 1

Basically I have a qif file that I need to clean up.

I have a grep that finds all the transaction details for one payee when the line beginning with PPayeeName

      This works

      \^\r^D.*?\r^PPayeeName.*?\r^M.*?\r^T.*?\r^CX\r^L.*?\r

But what I really want is all the transaction details for everyone who is NOT the PPayeeName

How can I invert my find when it involves multiple paragraph returns?

      Any insight would be appreciated.

I just can't seem to wrap my head around this

The text looks something like this.

      ^

      D2/7/11

      PPayee1

      MPayee details all differ

      T-53.05

      CX

      ^

      D2/7/11

      PPayeeName

      MPayeeName details all differ

      T-53.05
