Lightroom editing in Photoshop are sometimes not active

Hi

When I want to edit a photo using photoshop The options from the photo dropdown menu in lightroom are not always active. Can someone please help?

Is it sometimes active? Do you have Photoshop installed on the computer?

Sorry I didn't answer your question fully. Yes the options are sometimes active and others not. Yes as I said previously I do have photoshop installed on my computer. I have a full compliment of both as I am a subscription member of Adobe.
