Did you copy your pictures to your Cloud space?
Well that is a good question I am having a hard time following how this system works! I did at first attach to the cloud and it took a long time to send my 25 thousand pictures to cloud. Then I didn't know how to retrieve them back. this is where I was when my HD stopped allowing me to connect to the drive. Has taken me a month or so to install new drive and get back up installing all my software. I purchased Lightroom 5 software so I just re-installed it and updated. I had Adobe tech's assist me in installing the cloud icon. That's where I am now.
But your question is a good one. I just assume that they were correctly installed in the cloud? I hope so because it not I am out a lot of my life pictures:( Thanks for the come back. I'm very worried that I have lost them. Bob
You need to find a backup of the original photos on your computer or one of your hard disks.
Lightroom does not store your originals in the cloud. It sends lower resolution images that can be viewed on mobile devices.
We tried to access the hard drive but the good tech's at Staples could not to it. I agreed with you but do you know a place that could do this for me?
I turn 76 next month and if I get them back I think I will back out of Lightroom and stay with a lighter software like "Elements". I'm over my head with the complexity of it:( However I still like taking Photo's.
Let me know if there are placed that do this type of work and thanks for the help!
