    Catalog backup zip has incorrect file attributes

    bluesk1d

      Lightroom CC 2015 (Windows) automatic catalog backup produces a zip file with the "temp" attribute set. This causes backup software such as Carbonite to refuse to back it up. This should be changed as the zip is not a temp file. You can confirm this by looking at the attributes.

      How can we get this escalated as a bug?

      get-item .\Merged-2.lrcat.zip | select * | fl

      You can fix this by clearing the temp attribute manually.

      Powershell example:

      gci <path to backups> -recurse | % {if (($_.attributes -band 0x100) -eq 0x100) {$_.attributes = ($_.attributes -band 0xFEFF)}}
