I suppose If you map is a symbol, then you can zoom it without messing up the buttons. the buttons will grow with the rest. It all depends how your maps and buttons are.
What will you use for zooming?
Thanks for your answer!
I'm using two buttons (one zoom in and one zoom out). I've imported a piece of code which does the same, but with an image, and everything goes perfectly if a replace the image by another image, however, it does not work with the symbol, I guess i have to change this parameters here:
rect: ['-342px', '-214px', '1500px', '996px', 'auto', 'auto'],
fill: ['rgba(0,0,0,0)', 'images/mountains.jpg', '0px', '0px']
In type: Do I have to type 'symbol' instead of 'image'?
In fill: instead of images/mountains.jpg, do I have to write only the symbol name?
Thanks a lot for your help
Are you using a plugin? I would assume that if you are using an image into a symbol you will need to access the image div some way.
Yes, a plugin.
The problem is that I don't know how to replace "calling an image" for "calling a symbol".
You did not answer my question. Are you using a plugin and which one. There should be an API you can find.
If not, there are 2 ways to access images dynamically - with attr() for an img element with css() for a div.
Let me try it and see how it works.
What version of EA are you using?
What you need to do is give them a unique class name. then you need to have the code for each one.
2 images named 1,jpg and 2.jpg
Image 1 has class name "first" and image 2 has class name "second".
then you code in compositionReady is:
It's working! Thanks so much
Good luck on your project!
