Could you please let me know the version of MAC that you are working on ?
Also have you updated the Quick Time Player to the latest version ?
iMac (27-inch, Late 2013) - Running OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.3
Looking at my Quick time player I seem to have 2 versions installed
1. Quick Time player Version 10.4 (855)
2. Quicktime Player 7 Version 7.6.6 (1710)
hope that helps, presumably it would be better to uninstall one of the versions?
Colin, I would suggest to contact Apple once, and remove the older version and get the latest version.
Further to our conversation earlier in the Forum, I have been in touch with Apple support and they have helped my get rid of the old version of Quick Time Player and I am now running the correct up-to date version, I then closed Lightroom, restarted the computer and all is now back working correctly.
Many thanks for your help on this matter.
Should I go back into the forum and say anything, never used a Forum before so not sure what the protocol is.
Thank you again.
