I can't see your example video due to restrictions on the network where I work, but it sounds like you could do an Earth zoom tutorial (like the one at Video Copilot) to get the basic idea, but instead of zooming all the way out, just go up a bit, move over, and go back down.
i didn't understand your point and i understand the video-copilot but what i want is:
to zoom from earth\map to location A and then show the location A in real time view
and the video is:
Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare - Campaign Mission 6 (just watch the brife from any other site)
thanks alot for your reply ^_^
I am not sure exactly what you want to do, but I'd suggest looking at the plug in called GeoLayers. It does exactly what I think you want. It's pretty good, but the tutorials and support are not the best. That said I've always been able to get it to do the voodoo...
In that footage they do the Earth Zoom (like in the Video Copilot tutorial) and then they cross fade into the shot happening on the ground.
I liked the weather balloon joke. Funny. His is an interesting way to do it inexpensively. I do enough of them for paying customers that it was easier and cheaper to buy the plug in. If the customer wants a different map style it's a two minute fix,no searching for free images and my customers love choices.
Well that make sense but I'll spend alot of time to choose the right spot to fade and the right time
Yea thanks alot I'll feed you back after i do my small commercial
