    auto text flow stops midway

    MOD indy-go girl Level 1

I'm trying to place a Word Document and have the text auto-flow, adding new pages to accommodate the whole manuscript. I have threaded text frames (two columns each) set up on my master pages. It starts out ok, threading the text on the facing pages and then the auto-flow stops at the same point every time. It's only about one-tenth of the text from the manuscript. I tried saving as a an .rtf file, but the same exact thing happens. Here's a screen shot of the area of the Word document showing, with a red arrow, where the flow stops. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open the story in Story Editor (Edit > Edit in Story Editor...) and check the text immediately following the overset indicator. Something in that first bit of text is the problem. Common problems are long strings with No Break applied, non-breaking spaces and disabled hypheantion, or left and right indent values too large for the column width.
