A previous version of my presentation, developed by a colleague, showed a tall, narrow sidebar with the links to many slides. The new version that I created has a wide sidebar that takes up too much space on the screen. Can I resize it? Thanks!
I believe what you are seeing is a difference in the size of the PPT content. If you make your slides wider without adjusting the height then I suspect you'll start to see a proportionally smaller side bar.
I'm using PPT 2010 and the option to do this is under the Design tab and then Page Setup.

Hi,
By default, sidebar is as represented in the below image. Is it same for you as well?
Thanks,

Yes and no ... it seems to me that the body of the presentation (in my case, on the right) is MUCH smaller in relation to the sidebar in the picture you sent - and in the old version of my presentation. I'm trying to enlarge the content and shrink the sidebar.

The sound you hear is my palm smacking my forehead. Thanks a million for pointing this out - I was looking in the wrong place all along!

No worries, sometimes it just takes being removed from the problem. Glad that worked!
