Anyone please help. Im on MacBookPro 17 inch early 2011 i7 2.2 Ghz
I'm Running Yosemite 10.10.5
I have recently uninstalled and re-installed Adobe After Effects CC 2015
I have also re-installed Quicktime 7 Pro 7.6.6
I have no Firewall installed
I've gone through all the suggestions in link below.
Firstly while initially launching AE it hangs at mediacore for well over a minute...
The REAL issue is that upon start up, it will display the message: Quicktime not installed. Some components will not work correctly.
I ACTUALLY DO have both Quicktime 7 and Quicktime X and they both function well
I CAN import/open a Quicktime .mov
I CANNOT render Quicktime
I'm on hold with Adobe seems like they're not going to pick up.
It's probably a permissions thing. Check out what this guy did: Render to ProRes freezes
If that doesn't work and you need something else to try, try importing your files to Premiere or the Adobe Media Encoder and transcode them into image sequences. At least that way you can work without QuickTime.
