how to export a captivate project to another computer? Is there a way I can export the cptx file like in a package or something to make editable into another computer ?

If the other computer is also running the same version of Captivate (or later) then you can simply send them the CPTX file.

However, none of the output publishing formats from Captivate are really designed for any kind of significant editing.  The HTML5 and responsive outputs allow you to play around with the HTML, JS, and CSS code, but this is only recommended for experienced web developers, and you cannot then reimport the edited content back into Captivate as a source CPTX file again.

Just FYI: a cptx-file IS a package, it is a zipped folder.

No, that shouldn't matter. What is very important is the version: you cannot open a CP9 project on a system with version 8 or previous.
