Please let us know if there is any error while you try to use the Old version of Adobe apps.
Also please mention the version and name of those apps along with the your computer operating system and its version.
Hello Bani. I have had a creative cloud subscription for a few years now but recently decided to cancel. I had thought that my old apps (CC and CC2014) would still function but when I tried to open them the adobe application manager indicated that there was a problem and would not allow me to open them. I can understand that the CC2015 apps would not function but I can't see why the old apps are affected. Any suggestions? Or is my only recourse to start a new subscription.

When you cancel your subscription, all software linked to that subscription will stop working. That includes any software with CC in its name.
The only way to continue using the CC versions is to re-subscribe.
Any perpetually licensed versions which you purchased before you subscribed e.g. CS4, CS5, CS6 will continue working as usual.
