I have heard you are able to save PDF's as PowerPoints so I thought I would try it for my latest presentation. I created everything in InDesign and exported as PDF.
I am running a late 2013 27 inch iMac on OS X Yosemite. I am apparently on Acrobat DC, which I believe to be the latest version. I just joined the Creative Cloud subscription late last year after running on CS4 previously.
Okay, so I opened my PDF in Acrobat and have tried a combination of things. File>Export To>Microsoft Office PowerPoint and get the error "Save as failed to process this document. No file created." I also tried "Save As" and choose file type "Microsoft Office PowerPoint" and receive the same message. Also want to mention I am not running the latest version of Microsoft Office. We are currently Using Microsoft Office for Mac 2011. Could this be my issue? I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat thinking that was the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates "
Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat Software :- https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848
Please try uninstall & reinstall the application if issue still persist .
Also try to recreate the document in Acrobat & check whether it works or not.
