Recently there was an update to the Canon 16-35mm F/4 lens profile to correct barrel distortion at the longer focal lengths (fixed). Unfortunately, this has introduced inaccurate Upright mechanics when using the Auto or Vertical option. The original Lens Profile works good when using the upright function. The v2 Lens Profile consistently gets the verticals wrong. This is time consuming having to constantly go into the manual corrections for nearly every photo.
I've attached 2 images of an interior room as an example. Selecting the original lens profile corrects verticals over 90% of the time correctly. The v2 Lens Profile is much less consistent and requires manual corrections. Both images I have selected the "Vertical" option. Notice the window on the left side of image and the wall on the right.
