I shot some footage with my T3i camera. I now have that footage on my desktop (I have a windows 7 pc). But when I try to import that footage which is a MOV file, it says "this file is not supported".
However I checked on the adobe website under "Supported File Formats in Adobe Premiere Elements 7" and it does show it as an option. So what gives? I am able to simply watch the video on my PC,
and I am also able to upload MTS footage on this software. So why not MOV footage?
Could really use some help. Thanks!

Reinstall Quicktime in a version compatible to your old version of PRE.
Thanks a bunch. However a new problem was created after getting it to upload. Now 9/10 times when I open the project it is stuck on my toolbar below. When I click on it to open it up it wont go big. So now I cant even really access Premiere Elements.... So annoying... I dont know if this has to do with Quicktime, or its a fluke. I never had this before, and I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it back but the problem remains. If you or anyone else has any bright ideas I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
