In the CCApp, do you see Lr CC2015? If so, open it in the CC App.
My guess is that you also have the earlier version installed and are opening it.
The current version of Lightroom is CC 2015.4. But the latest version requires a 64-bit operating system. Do you have that?
I do and I have. The app that opens is 5.4 but Adobe says most recent version is 5.7.
At least that is what I saw this morning. I simply did a search on most recent version of Lightroom cc and found that. The question came up as I was going through LRQ's tutorial ADOBE PHOTOSHOP LIGHTROOM CC/6 - QUICK START GUIDE and she mentioned the new import screen which I do not have. Not sure how important all of this is.
The import screen changed in early updates of Lightroom 6. But after an outcry from disgruntled users, the import screen was changed back to what we were accustomed to using.
Now I can't find anything that says the version 5.7.1 of cc is available. Not sure what I saw. You said that 5.4 was current so I guess I will go with that. Thanks for the time and the response.
If you subscribe to the Photography plan, open the CC desktop app, where Lightrooom CC should be available for download.
If you already installed it, you should be able to click Open next to it.
LR 5 and LR CC are two different versions.
LR 5 is no longer updated, and the latest version is 5.7.1.
The latest version of CC is 2015.4.
Updates (and upgrades) do not happen automatically. You have to use the CC desktop app to install updates and upgrades.
