Dear LR users,
I am actually trying to scan old B/W negative films and import them into LR5 on my Mac. But when I open the frame, it shows as a negative, not positive.
How do I turn it into a positive image??
SOrry if the question is unclair, hoping to find a solution! Thanks you.

It is possible to invert negatives to positive by inverting the tone curve.
First click the little icon in the bottom right corner ...
... which will result in this:
Then invert the curve, so it looks like this, resulting in a positive. You can create a develop preset for this, so you don't have to adjust the curve manually every time.
A better solution might be to scan the film as "negative", which will give you a positive image.

If you invert the curve, than most of your 'Basic' sliders will work backwards, which is doable, but potentially confusing. He's right: change the scanner options so you get a positive.
