Please follow the steps below:-
With Lightroom closed
- Navigate to
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences (Where AppData is a hidden/system folder so you may need to enter the folder name directly into your Explorer address bar or enable hidden/system folders in Explorer folder view options.)
- Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
- Search for the line Use autobahn=True(Press CTRL+F)
- Change it to Use Autobahn=False
- Once Done save the File
- Restart Lightroom
Also refer this link and update Graphics Processor if you use AMD card
Let us know if that helps
Thanks for the quick response. I should have known to look for hidden files. Unfortunately, once I changed the setting to false I still have the issue. And I had already done the driver update listed for AMD graphic cards. Any additional help would be appricated.
Does Lightroom opens up and freezes when you switch to Develop module?
It freezes when I first open it up.
- Please ensure Lightroom is up tom date
If that does not help:-
- Disable Graphics card usage from Device manager
Then launch Lightroom and disable "Use graphics Processor from Preferences>>Performance.
It looks like the latest update resolved the issue.
Thanks for your help!
