Just a quick question about the +Jaw function and Lip sync audio from pre-recorded combination
How to get this to work properly ?
I've added the Nutcracker jaw to the character. Lip sync seems to only compute for the mouth ?
The Nutcracker Jaw behavior seeks out a "Jaw" handle and moves it up & down according to the openness of your mouth (as tracked via your webcam). I'll take this as a feature request for driving the up & down motion based on the audio. For now, you can does this in After Effects using Convert Audio to Keyframes command. See this tutorial for a way to control mouth opacity based on audio: How To Convert Audio To Keyframes - Adobe After Effects Audio Tutorial - VFX Vlog #12 - YouTube, though you may want to hook it up to position instead of opacity.
I was having the same trouble. However, you can live record the jaw with audio flappiness instead of using the camera. So rather then fussing with After Effects, I just played the pre-recorded voice file from my speakers, loudly, and setup my microphone to capture it/drive the jaw as a live recording.
A bit of a janky fix but it got me quick results. Hope that helps!
