    .flv files

Can Premiere Elements 14 share files as .flv files anymore? I just upgraded (it's only crashed once so far in my first hour, and then it refused to open the file it had just created!) tonight and need to save files in that format for a school-based website. Any help is appreciated.

      Thank you.

FLVs are considered an obsolete format and they can no longer be generated by Premiere Elements.

MP4s are the current standard for web-based video playback. You can generate MP4s in a number of ways from Premiere Elements.

If you are outputting video that will be placed on a web site, you will need to generate the MP4 at a specific size, as dictated by the site's HTML. Under Export & Share/Device/Computer/Custom you can create a custom setting to output your video at any dimensions.
