I have CS6. I'm trying to publish an e-book but don't have a 'fixed' option as an EPUB export so I need to make sure the document is properly formatted with paragraphs etc. The paragraph styles tab doesn't appear to exist! This is all I have in that area Window>Styles>Cell Styles and Table Styles. Anyone know what's going on and perhaps a way I can still publish the ebook properly using my InDesign? Thank you!
Trash your preferences, but for EPUB you really should consider a move to Creative Cloud. The advancements are significant.
For now, I only really need it for one main project so investing in CC wouldn't make so much sense, though I get the benefits, trust me! For now, I want the EPUB to keep the format of the PDF which I believe it is not doing because I can't actually format the paragraph styles.
That’s going to require a lot more work and a pretty good knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Even at that, and even with CC, you’re never going to duplicate a print layout with a reflowable EPUB.
