            I have three bracket pictures (handheld) and try to merge them.


            I am still on test version of Lr 2015.CC.


            This is one point of a few Go or No Go purchase items on my checklist.


            I really appreciate any help!

                Does HDR work if you select only the two bracketed shots e.g. ignore the standard exposure and select each one with plus and minus EV?

                    And do Help / System Info and check to see what actual version of LR CC you're running.   The current version is LR CC 2015.6:


                    Secondly, if you could upload a couple of your HDR shots to www.dropbox.com or similar, then others could try to them to make sure they're not corrupted, somehow.

                          OK, DSC_3864.NEF and DSC_3865.NEF from Dropbox I could HDR merge (without the +/- 0 exposure from the bracket).

                            I tested with two NEFs and it worked OK on my Windows 7 machine with the same version of LR.


                            Here is the preview Window and below the merged HDR image next to the original thumbnails.

                              Do things work if you restart LR or restart your computer or turn the GPU off or on in LR Prefs Performance depending on whether it is or isn't, now?

                                The brighter of the two in each set you've supplied have enough headroom in the highlights that you can see cloud detail without going to the trouble of making an HDR, where besides the settings you can see, I also applied a Dehaze of +50:

                                And you can get much more cloud structure out of either +1 EV image using HDR Efex Pro 2 that is part of Google's now free Nik Collection:  Google Nik Collection

                                  Many thanks for all of this hints.

                                  Believe it or not, this must have been a "Murphy's Law" case. Since my complaint - I am sure I booted once in between - HDR works.

                                  Because I had the same issue with panorama, I will check this also and keep you updated.
