Lightroom 4 Question:
Lightroom notified me that my laptop did not have enough storage space so I copied a lot of previously edited files to my external drive (then deleted the files from my laptop to make room) and then tried to reopen Lightroom. It said it could not find the default catalog. I am realizing now that I might have accidentally copied the catalog that I was using for the past two years to edit photos to my external hard drive (or possibly deleted). I use a Mac laptop and I have never set up "time machine" software to back up my data. Help!
How can I somehow look up the name of the catalog (its been so long I don't remember the name). Need serious direction, please.

On your external hard drive, look for files with .lrcat extension and load it as Lightroom Catalog has extension .lrcat.
Thanks! I was able to find the catalog on the external drive and copy it back to my laptop and launch it.
