I have a copy of CS (MAC) which was installed on a computer I no longer have. I would like to deactivate the software. When I contacted Support via Webchat they informed me that I need the original computer in order to deactivate the software. When I said I do not have it I was told, and I quote 'No one in Adobe will be able to help you with this'.
Is this correct? Can I not have the product deactivated by Adobe? I am astounded if this is the case.
Please advise, anyone?
Unfortunately we do not find any serial number registered to this Adobe ID in the Forum. If the serial number has not been registered, it can not be traced by us. Please check the DVD box .
CS is an old version which present operating system does not support, it will best to upgrade to the latest version of Creative Cloud.
