    Gzip and Flex

      From what I understand, gzip (and other compression tools) are compressed at the server level and the browser itself is able to decompress them.

      On my Flex project I am recieving a null object error, and when I use Firebug to evaluate the network results, the content-encoding section and accept-encoding sections both list gzip.

      Shouldn't the browser decompress the gzip files before they are sent to the flash player, or am I supposed to do something specific in Flex for this to happen?
