Firstly, I'm a TOTAL NOVICE and just getting into this photography gig BUT I've been doing some commercial photography and have noticed that when I edit my photos in lightroom they look sharp and the colour vibrant but when I save them as a jpeg the image quality suffers and the image can look a little fuzzy. Any tips? Please use words of one syllable as I'm no technogeek but would appreciate any technogeeks out there to help me!! Thanks in advance
If it's relevant, my camera is a Canon 600d and I'm using a sigma 10-20 lens.
Make sure you set quality as high under File Settings panel and have a good resolution value under Image Sizing.
Also, you can add on sharpening through the Output Sharpening panel in Export settings.
Can you show us a screen capture of the problem? A capture of how the photo looks in Lightroom and then a capture of the photo after you export when it doesn't look so good?
Describe in more detail the meaning of "image quality suffers".
