Then if you have rebooted your PC and the same thing happens, and this something new (Just started recently) it sounds like a hardware problem, possibly RAM. Run Memtest 86 overnight to check the RAM.

Do you have your phone or any other device connected to the machine while importing?
If yes, disconnect it and then try to import in Lightroom.

Well, let me restate that. There were two USB chords in their ports but were not being used. And actually, I just tried the import again and it's working. Have no clue what is happening but as of this moment, it did the import I was trying to do from the start. If there is any "fix" for this problem it may be worth posting still as the problem may come up again.
Did you remove those USB chords?
