My main issue with this feature is that I run a multimedia studio and work with clients in very different industries and different backgrounds. I don't wish for new clients to see others work. Some clients work may not be appropriate to show in front of others for various reasons. I run into this problem if !Photoshop, !Premiere, and !After Effects. I am currently using CC version of all of them.
Is there a way to have a generic folder come up when I want to save files or have it just got to the C: drive or is there a way to have the programs point to a built in default folder?
No. This is standard operating system behavior outside of the control of Adobe. All the programs do is invoke those file dialogs with a handful lines of code. If it's critical to hide sensitive info, you have to manage it using different users and permissions. Of course there is all sorts of utilities that can help.
Ok thanks, didn't ever notice that feature in other programs. Different users and permission would be a final result. Can you suggest any utilities that can help?
