I want to share my Lightroom with a second user who is in another city. What I want to do is to access and modify my catalog from two different position in the same time, without copying the files on both computers. In this way I can delegate some work to my collaborator, whithout providing him the original files. Is this feasible with the Creative Cloud?
Lightroom catalog cannot be shared without the original files/Smart Previews of the images linked.
You can export the images as a catalog(See Export a catalog | Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC tutorials ). This way you don't have to share the entire catalog.
Also, Keep in mind that at any point of time, You or your collaborator must keep the catalog saved on a local drive(recommended) .
You could also refer Sharing Lightroom Catalog with Multiple Computers
That's a real pity! I think that Adobe shall implement this!
I will solve this issue creating a VPN to my hard drive and let my coworker to access to my local catalog thru the internet, then...
thanks a lot guys!
