Once the fonts have synced to Creative Cloud, they will be added to the type menu in your Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and any other desktop software that uses the default font locations on the computer.

Um, I believe Typekit fonts are synced *to the desktop,* (from the Adobe-hosted servers at Typekit.com) not "to the Creative Cloud." You can use the Creative Cloud application to view the fonts you've synced, or to jump to Typekit to manage them.
I think new users like the OP are flummoxed by what the "Creative Cloud" actually is, which is the only reason I'm intervening. ;-)
