    Browser dimensions

    Learningflex003
      Hello All,

      I'm new to Flex and still learning and my question is:

      Created a simple screen with couple of control panels. when i run the application, i can only see half the screen.
      The browser doesn't provide the scroll down bar to to see the rest of the application.
      I don't want to scroll through using the applicaion, i want the whole application to appear in the browser and use the browser to scroll down to view the rest of the screen.

      how can i do this?

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
      <mx:Application xmlns:mx=" http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute" height="871" fontFamily="Arial" fontSize="12">
      <mx:VBox width="669" x="10" y="24" height="817">
      <mx:Panel width="606" height="200" layout="absolute">
      </mx:Panel>
      <mx:Panel width="630" height="237" layout="absolute">
      </mx:Panel>
      <mx:TitleWindow width="250" height="144" layout="absolute">
      </mx:TitleWindow>
      <mx:Panel width="250" height="200" layout="absolute">
      </mx:Panel>
      </mx:VBox>

      </mx:Application>

            Hello Amy,

            Greatly appreciate your help but I modified the html and set the scroll to "auto" and still not getting the results im looking for.
            The scroll bar still not appearing and i can see part of the page on the bottom which indicates the browser should have a scroll bar available to the right.

            anything else you can think of??

            Cheers
            Robin

              I think there's another codebase you can use to embed your swf. I think
              it's called swfObject or something like that (anyone who knows for sure feel
              free to chime in). It may have some features that help.
