I have 100 pdf's coming from various places that I bring one by one into indesign, then export out with specific printer settings, page numbers etc. Is there a script , shortcut, design secret, etc that would allow me to import the initial individual pdfs into indesign on separate pages? A script like zanelli's ??? script but that would run on individual pdf's instead os pdf's with multiple pages?
Thanks in advance.
Try ImageCatalog script.
It comes with InDesign, you'll find it in Scripts/Samples folder.
Solution one: Try the links2csv script by Loic Aigon - Downloads | Ozalto. This script looks at a folder of images (PDF, JPG etc) and then creates a csv file based on the filenames. It then launches the data merge window. From here, make a frame on the page that contains the image placeholder and make it the full page size, and make sure to choose the correct image fitting option in the data merge panel flyout.
Solution two: The photobook script by Roland Dreger - Fotobuch mit Adobe InDesign — Roland Dreger, Grafikdesign - this script imports a folder full of images (PDF, JPG etc) directly into Adobe InDesign with a UI that is quite useful.
