I am attempting to print an 8.5x11 borderless print.........everything looks correct to me as far as the page set-up and the LR PRINT module, but the printer is consistently printing only a small part of the image on the paper, as shown in the images below. I have been printing for LR 4 to this 3880 with no issues for YEARS ......but after the upgrade to a Macbook Pro and the latest version of LR I have only had problems printing and especially this size and borderless setting. Exporting the image to Photoshop and I am able to print correctly......if I switch to another paper size the prints are being made correctly, at least 11x17, and the first print when I switch to back to the 8.5x11 size prints almost correctly--there is a small border remnant when there should be no border at all, but subsequent prints of that 8.5x11 inch size revert to the truncated version. The issue so far seems confined to the 8.5x11 paper, and as far as I can see only in Lightroom.....the 2015 version is not printing the borderless prints correctly, either simply printing a small part of a smaller print (see the enclosed file) or printing the borderless prints with a smaller border.....this is absolutely maddening and I am paying for the CC monthly.....should not be the case. Examples are included below. Hopefully someone has a fix for this, and thanks in advance. There are 74 gigs free on the internal SSD by the way, a Macbook Air 2011.
Meanwhile, printing in Photoshop is perfect.....so this issue is definitely Lightroom. This needs to be fixed ASAP.
I believe changing the printer profile in the print job panel of Lightroom print module should work have worked for you.
Yes to clarify the above .....disable Color Management by Printer and select the print profile for your printer......this way LR know what printing you are using.
Why LR can't read this from the Page Setup or Print Dialog Box I have no idea, but it definitely solved my problem.
